In addition to winning "Best Brand", Juniper was also shortlisted for three other categories: Technology Foresight, Best Software Solution and Outstanding Vendor of the Year, for which the company received a "Highly Commended" mention.
The World Vendor Awards (WVA) are the only independent, impartial awards that are focused on telecom vendors. The competition is open to all suppliers large and small, general and specialist, communications sector equipment and software suppliers, IT companies and service providers.
In a ceremony in London on May 6, 2010, Nigel Stephenson, Managed Services Solutions Marketing, Juniper Networks (EMEA) accepted the award for Juniper Networks in the "Best Brand" category. (click on thumbnail to enlarge). The award recognised the company's "The New Network is Here" campaign.
