Pirate Bay defendants convicted and sentenced

The four Pirate Bay copyright defendants were today convicted and sentenced to one year in prison for breaking Sweden's copyright laws by helping millions of users to download music and movies on the Internet. They were also ordered to pay damages of 30 million kroner (US$3.7 million) to entertainment companies including Warner Brothers, Sony, EMI and Columbia.

There is no way to stop this movement with new innoative models for sharing content. Strong beliver that the content consumtion goes up as filesharing increases. What's the music, film industry doing to be innovative??? We need new models for content creation and sharing, filesharing could be one....
