Thinking inside the box: more WiMAX enthusiasm, this time it's infrastructure

Some big capital movers including Comcast Interactive Capital, Prism VentureWorks and the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) decided to shake up the US WiMAX space again this week with a US$12.6 million dollar cash injection in self-styled 4G mobile “voice, data and video” software start up Cartiza Networks.

The Massachusetts-based company, cagey about its WiMax connection perhaps at its investors behest, is a WiMAX Forum signatory.

Cartiza has hatched an 'all-IP' Mobile Content Delivery System for which it claims sophisticated content management capabilities for voice, data and video.
