Slim eyes Spain, again!

The second-richest man in the world, Mexico’s Carlos Slim Helú, and owner of the country’s incumbent operator Telmex is looking to invest in Europe.

The Mexican billionaire has his eyes set on Spain, again. Slim already tried to enter the Spanish market three years ago, but decided against biding for a wireless spectrum due to the small size of the licenses offered by regulators. The Slim family is now again interested in investing in Spain’s telecommunications sector.
