Deutsche Telekom caught out over taping: remind you of anyone?

As was expected, now that Deutsche Telekom (DT) has been forced to open its very own Pandora's Box and reveal the dirty secrets it contains, things at the telco are rapidly going from bad to worse.

Just a few days after the incumbent German carrier admitted that it had been conducting illicit surveillance on its own staff and journalists, state prosecutors have raided the company's headquarters in a search for evidence to show that the covert spying went on for a lot longer, and began a lot earlier, than DT has admitted.

Over the weekend DT was well and truly outed by the influential magazine Der Spiegel.
