Apple rumoured to join FCC wireless spectrum bid?

Last week at Apple's annual Keynote address, CEO Steve Jobs announced that it is cutting the price of the iPhone by US$200, and finally revealed the much-rumoured iPod Touch and new Nano with video capability.

This week BusinessWeek reports that the Apple Empire is now considering joining the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) wireless spectrum auction held on 16 January.
